Note on Insurance

There are many benefits to paying out of pocket:

Healing Valleys Counseling is a self-pay practice. In going through a self-pay practice your insurance company will not have access to your therapy records, no diagnosis is required for payment, any diagnosis provided will not become a part of your permanent medical record, and there is flexibility in determining the length and number of sessions which you and I will decide collectively throughout the therapy process based upon what works best for you. Further, not having to complete and submit extensive paperwork to the insurance companies allows me more time to be fully invested in this process with you, to provide excellent service, and to focus fully on your progress and what you need to achieve your goals.

Upon request I am happy to provide a superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed but often a portion of the cost may be reimbursed. Please contact your insurance provider to discuss out-of-network benefits and for more information.

Good Faith Estimates

Cancellation Policy & Fees

Because spots are limited, clients are responsible for 100% of the session fee if the appointment is canceled or not maintained without providing 24 hours notice.
